I’ve noticed the word “rave” being used again in reference to events. It was only 7 years ago when the word “rave” was synonymous with drug-filled all night dance parties. Now I find numerous promoters calling there events “raves”. The crackhouse law devastated the “rave scene”. Law enforcement shut down venues because of the concern that they were thrown for consumption purposes. So whats up with it being cool to call parties “raves” again? Has enough time washed away the stereotype?
